DO YOU OFFER A PICK UP / DROP OFF SERVICE?
For privacy and safety reasons, unfortunately I do not offer a pick up / drop off service. Postage instructions will be sent once your order has been placed.
HOW DO I SEND MY BREASTMILK (OR FORMULA) TO YOU?
When posting your breastmilk, you will need to have your thawed breastmilk stored within a breastmilk storage bag. Place the bag of breastmilk in an additional 1-2 zip lock bags and wrap the package in a paper towel or newspaper prior to postage.
HOW IS MY BREASTMILK PRESERVED?
Your breastmilk will be preserved using Baby Bee Hummingbird's tried and tested Milky Mama Magic Dust. This trademarked product is 100% natural and organic, and will ensure your breastmilk does not deteriorate or discolour over time.
CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE INCLUSIONS IN ONE PIECE OF JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKE?
Yes, of course! You can combine any number of inclusions for a piece of jewellery / keepsake. Different effects can be achieved through layering or mixing inclusions and shimmers. If you have a particular idea in mind, please include any details in the comments section of the order form, or email us directly to discuss.
HOW LONG WILL MY JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKES TAKE TO MAKE?
To ensure I can take the utmost care when crafting each and every piece, I will only be taking a limited number of orders. However, you will still be able to place an order for the following month if I have filled all available spots for the current month. From the date of receipt of your inclusions, or from the start of your respective month (whichever is later), please allow 6 - 8 weeks for your jewellery/keepsakes to be completed. Please allow 8 - 10 weeks for any ring orders. Once completed, your pieces will be posted to you via Express Post, and you will receive your tracking number in an email.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKES?
Care instructions will be included with your jewellery / keepsakes. It is highly recommended that you treat your jewellery / keepsakes like any other precious jewellery.
DO I NEED TO PAY FOR POSTAGE?
For Breastmilk/DNA jewellery, you will need to pay for postage of your inclusions to me. Due to the sensitive, and sometimes irreplaceable, nature of your inclusions, it is highly recommended that you use registered post to track your package. Postage of your items will be included in your invoice.
HOW DO I KNOW MY INCLUSIONS WILL BE IN MY PIECE OF JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKE?
We use a highly organised system to ensure orders are clearly identified throughout the entire ordering, crafting and packaging process. All inclusions are clearly labelled with your name and order number.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T LIKE MY JEWELLERY?
Each piece of jewellery / keepsake is a custom order, and is hand-crafted. This means that, unlike mass produced machine-made jewellery, your jewellery may have minor unique qualities. As your keepsake jewellery is made from resin, there may be some small air bubbles within the piece. Each piece of jewellery / keepsake is crafted with love, with the customer's personal journey in mind. If you do not like something you have ordered, please contact us directly so that we can discuss any concerns. Refunds are not available for change of mind.
WHAT METALS ARE USED IN YOUR JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKES?
Ready-made jewellery is made from 925 Sterling Silver and/or Stainless Steel findings. Each individual item will have details on the findings used. Key chains are made from a metal alloy, and may tarnish if exposed to water, chemicals, oils etc.
DO YOU TAKE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Unfortunately at this point in time, I will only be taking orders from within Australia.
DO YOU OFFER AFTERPAY?
Unfortunately at this point in time I do not offer Afterpay. However, if you would love to place an order but can't pay for it all up front, please email me and we may be able to work out a payment plan.
HOW MUCH BREASTMILK IS REQUIRED?
10 – 30ml of breastmilk is required for your jewellery and/or keepsakes. Unless otherwise specified, any preserved / fresh breastmilk not used will be kept for up to 12 months for any future orders. If you have less than 20ml, I may still be able to craft a breastmilk piece for you, please contact me to discuss options.
CAN I USE OLD / EXPIRED BREASTMILK?
Yes, you can. I can craft with any breastmilk you have available – fresh; old; thawed and re- frozen; foremilk; hindmilk; colostrum, etc. If you have a combination-fed baby, I can also craft with formula, soy-milk and/or cow’s milk.
HOW DO I SEND MY OTHER INCLUSIONS TO YOU AND HOW MUCH IS REQUIRED?
As I do not hold a Bloodborne Pathogen or Food Handling Certificate, the only live ‘tissue’ I am able to deal with is breastmilk; which, as per the World Health Organisation and CDC’s current available data, is not listed as a bodily fluid. Therefore, for health and safety reasons, I am unable to work with any live human or animal tissue, and as such, all other inclusions need to be safely dried prior to me receiving them. HOW DO YOU USE BOTANICALS IN THE JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKES?
Depending on what look you would like to be achieved, and the size of the botanicals, they can be used as a whole, or pieces of the flowers/leaves can be placed in the jewellery / keepsakes. Alternatively, the flowers/leaves can be crushed or ground and added to the jewellery / keepsakes as a fine / coarse powder or as flakes.
WHAT IS RESIN?
The resin I use is an epoxy resin. Epoxy resin is a type of plastic made from a class of synthetic thermosetting polymers containing epoxide groups.
CAN I ORDER TWO ITEMS TO LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME?
As all jewellery / keepsakes are handcrafted, I may be able to craft similar pieces, but no two pieces will ever be identical. The jewellery and/or keepsakes are crafted from your inclusions and set in resin, therefore small air bubbles may occur during the curing process. Each piece will be unique, with their own characteristics.
WHAT ARE SHIMMERS?
Shimmers are pigmented pearlescent mica powders which are added to resin. These powders cause the originally clear resin to change colour, and add a shimmery effect to the jewellery/keepsake. A limited variety of colour options are available; however, different shades can be achieved by adding varying amounts of shimmers. If you have a particular colour in mind, please contact me to discuss options.

WILL MY JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKE CHANGE COLOUR OR TURN YELLOW?
We take every care to ensure your jewellery is crafted with the highest quality products. Breastmilk will be preserved using Baby Bee Hummingbird's trademarked Milky Mama Magic Dust, a tried and tested 100% organic and natural product. It is highly recommended that all care instructions are followed, and that your jewellery / keepsakes are treated like any other precious jewellery.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER?
You will have 24 hours from the moment you pay for your order to cancel it if you change your mind. If you decide to cancel your order, you will be refunded the amount paid, minus any PayPal processing fees. We will not offer refunds for any orders cancelled after 24 hours.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY JEWELLERY / KEEPSAKE BREAKS?
All of our jewellery and keepsakes are hand-crafted custom pieces. If your jewellery / keepsake breaks, and you believe it may be due to a crafting error, please contact us directly. It is advised to keep your jewellery / keepsakes away from any children or pets in order to avoid any tugging, pulling, chewing etc. We will not take responsibility for the mistreatment of any jewellery / keepsakes.

YES WE DO! Check out our products to see what is available. These are available in 925 Sterling Silver. Please note that the timeframe for all ring orders is 8 - 10 weeks.
